The Recess Inn Fall Open House & Makers Market will be Saturday, October 18, from 9am - 3pm! We are located at 203 E. Main Street, in Ethel. Applications are now open for the Makers Market.
We’re excited to expand our Makers Market this year—thanks to the generous use of the Ethel Community Church Fellowship Hall!
Are you a local creator from Macon, Linn, Adair, Chariton County or nearby? Have ties to the area? We’d love to showcase your work! We’re looking for vendors offering handmade goods such as:
- Pottery, paintings, basketry, fiber arts (sewn/knitted/crocheted), carved wood
- Jewelry, soaps, floral arts
- Upcycled items (like clothing items made into bags, purses, instruments into lamps, etc.)
- Food items like popcorn, cupcakes, jams, jellies, honey
- If there is room, we will accept direct market sale items, such as Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Norwex, etc.

Apply early—first-come, first-considered to avoid duplicate offerings of the same medium, unless the style and substance are vastly different.
