Boots and Black Tie

Sponsored by the Maples Repertory Theatre, this elegant June event features drinks and appetizers, live music, both silent and live auctions, a sumptuous buffet, and delicious dessert. Proceeds support the theatre.

Relay for Life

This run/walk benefits the American Cancer Society. Macon and the surrounding communities pull together and raise thousands of dollars for cancer research.

The lighting of the luminaries honors both those who have defeated cancer and those who have lost their lives to the disease.

Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament

Hundreds turn out to take part in the Chamber Challenge tournament held annually at Macon Country Club. This four person scramble format event brings together membership and community to support the Macon Area Chamber of Commerce which provides support for area tourism, commerce and growth.

Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

Join us under the stars for a beautiful fireworks experience sponsored through local donations and presented by the Macon Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Macon.

Sponsored by the Macon County Flywheel & Collectibles Club, this event is held each July. Roam the Macon County Fairgrounds Park and watch as antique machinery does thrashing, bailing, and more. Live music, museum tours, great food, and acres of craft items are available.

Fork & Cork Artisan Festival

The Macon Fork and Cork Artisan Festival attracts high-end visual arts, quality crafters and antique dealers, live musical entertainment, delicious foods, wine, and so much more!

The festival is held annually and is hosted by the Macon Area Chamber of Commerce on Macon's historic downtown square.

Two-Days of fun filled "Best of the Best" Demolition Derby in Macon, Missouri. We feature a 4 - Car Team Derby and Team Consolation Derby on Friday night and on Saturday night we'll have the Full Size Cars, Compacts, Truck Derby and Team Feature.

Annual Christmas Parade and Lighting of Jackson Street Park

Kick off the Christmas Holiday season with our annual themed parade through downtown Macon, where everyone will enjoy decorated shop windows, food and festivities. Bring in the season by joining us in this evening parade, with Santa, decorated floats and vehicles, music, live nativity, hot chocolate and cookies.
